Biography :
Dr. Bin Wang is the Founder and Chairman of Advaccine Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Distinguished Professor at Fudan University, and Chairman of the Nucleic Acid Vaccine Branch of the China Vaccine Industry Association. Holding a Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr. Wang has over three decades of pioneering leadership in vaccine innovation. In the 1990s, he co-invented foundational DNA vaccine technology with Professor David Weiner at the Wistar Institute and presided over the world's first DNA vaccine clinical trial. Under his leadership, Advaccine has developed an advanced RSV preventive vaccine and a proprietary Dissolvable Microneedle Array Patch (D-MAP) delivery platform supported by the Gates Foundation.
